Dock workers are dock workers. Yes, there is a need to be friendly with them and I am. I do not wear uniforms and as far as I know my company doesn't have any available, but that's not to say I don't see a benefit. As far as who they impress? I'm not too concerned about impressing the dock...

That's a good list to start from I suppose. I don't know much about the driver contracts myself, but it looks like your giving it an honest shot. I would feel better about it if Ateam could have a look at it. They seem to know more about the business than most.

My advice is to start to with a minimum amount of "stuff". In a van, you'll be able to stop at any walmart (or any other store) and get things that you need. The prices will likely be the same as if you made your purchases at home. Don't fret over the "stuff". You'll be sortin and throwin away...

I did some googlin' since you posted. That's some interesting stuff. I've never done anything remotely similiar to that. To be able to screen a ton of rock down to the point of finding the 1/2 ounce of gold in it...well, that's gotta be worth watching. Sounds like a good way to spend a summer.
