    It's a Merry Christmas Month

Dude! Go to a Napa store...(If there is one there) and get a tank type coolant heater. And 2 hose clamps. IT is so eaqsy and quick to do this. Cut one of the hoses going to you're heater core, and put one end into the heater and clamp it, and the same with the other end. 5 minute job. They cost...

    battery advice for a sprinter

One of our drivers had to wait a week when his less than a year old unit quit working. On a separate incident with a different friend, he had to wait until they could order a blower motor for his. A simple wearable part in tge wintertime and they had to order it. One would think they would have...

    battery advice for a sprinter

I paid 350 for my oddysey from ray 2 years ago. He was the cheapest at that time on them. But I have also had drivers tell me an espar d4 was 3300 installed with a battery. It seems kinda high when cerni international in Youngstown sells d2's for 900 bucks cash and carry. Sent from my...

Do you balance your straight truck tires?

Always balance the steers. I had them re- balanced every 20 thousand miles after the fiest time. I was one of the few that kept the drives balaced as well.it pays off in the long run. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using EO Forums mobile app

Advise on Cargo Van "vs" Staright Truck?

I just look at it as far as costs to operate the two different vehicles are concerned. Tires? What, $1,200 for a set of steers on a straight? $800 bucks for all 4 on a van. $250 bucks for a service on a straight? 50 bucks on a van using synthetic every 8,500 miles...Plates? $150.00 a year for a...

Advise on Cargo Van "vs" Staright Truck?

Not necessarily true, as far as the smaller the vehicle, the less the income. I have never made the kind of money in a straight that I make in a van. The pay isn't that much different between the two, but the costs of ownership are. Tin can? I'd take my 12 ft sleeper over a straight sleeper...

    Wreaths Across America 2013

This is one of the many reasons why I am so proud to be leased to Load One. Since 1995, I have never worked for a trucking/expedite company such as Load One, or an owner of a company, John K Elliott II, so giving of itself in every way to so many charities.

November winds of change, banter, and a surprise whoopee cushion

Imagine if he pulled up in a yellow truck......lol... I noticed the the guy here at home has a P-30 Chevy chassis under his delivery van. Last time I was home I told him I'd leave him some new parts before I leave out that I had left over from my fleet of potato chip vans from back in the day...

    Ford Full Size Transit

Sorry to say you're incorrect, but the Transit is being made in Claycomo. I am sure most of the parts for it will be made overseas, however.
