If you go by good week/bad week, you'll drive yourself crazy! Best to go by month, because the weeks will offset each other, usually. I recently had a $3700 week followed by a nada week (for various reasons). Overall, my 3 weeks out ended up being good.

I hear that! For Detroit being such a busy place, I had a helluva time getting out this week. Can't watch the board constantly, and missed a couple loads that way. Then there are tons of MI to OH or MI to IN runs, but I wanted a good long one to start out. Missed a load going to NV Friday...

Your best bet is to find a company that finds loads for your truck, rather than finding trucks for their loads. IMO, a company where the dispatch will actively look for something that will take you close to home when you need to go. As far as getting out of FL, most O/Os and drivers I talk to...

Very simply, expedite freight is whatever the customer is willing to pay an expedite rate to put on an expedite truck. I've heard so many weird things going expedite, it's hard to catagorize. What does a donated organ have to do with new x-boxes or tires or nuclear plant parts or a ball gown...
