I agree with Turtle, IF you're driving a four wheeler. In a big truck, I like to use the middle lane. We can't ride the left lane in most cities, and the right lane is too unpredictable. If it's not bumper to bumper, being in the middle lane leaves two outs. As far as impeding traffic, too bad...
