    Big Truck Load bar storage

I don't necessarily disagree, but to answer the OP, there is a solution if you want to spend the $70 or so.

    Who do you use?

If they are running a business, then probably Quick books, not sure of the version they would need, then maybe a community college class. My wife is a bookkeeper and has used that for years, kind of the defacto standard although I still think the software to be a bit clunky, and sometimes...

No Automatic Truck they are Junk.

I think some brands of the early ATM's might of been a bit tough to creep or so I have heard. The Volvo iShift and FL DT12 by all reports are awesome, the Volvo truck I was driving had a ZF 12 speed AMT, it was pretty good, but it was kind of on/off, not really a creep mode. It also took a bit...

You know you're in Canada when...

I was going to say you see a Timmie's on every corner, BUT I guess that is already covered.

    Instant regret in 3-2-1....

I saw at least one bottle of beer involved leading to this regretful decision, "here hold my beer and watch this" applies here.

    The great tuna scandal

Once you try Costco Albacore you won't buy any of the other brands, in fact you will wonder how you could of ate the stuff!

    Winter Driving???

$10 x 100 miles is $1000, $5 x 200 miles is $1000, both good, but you made more profit on the shorter run,so nothing wrong with short high rate runs.

    Winter Driving???

Many western states routinely have chains required for days at a time in the winter on the mountain passes, way of life. If/when I own my own truck, automatic chains will be installed. Shelby

    Winter Driving???

Quite a bit of truth there, you need to have the whoa as well as the go. I more worry about ice/black ice than snow. I live in the NW, we do get snow covered roads, sometimes for days, but east of the Rockies, shoot it is usually bare pavement, especially on the big road. Because of the lack of...

Yeah I know, hoping that doesn't happen from ANY cause. LOL

    Big Truck Tire Balance

I wonder how many shops use the shop tool? Was reading on their web site and a couple drivers reported a hop at certain speeds that was cured with the product. The Volvo I was driving had a vibration around 45 MPH, I bet this would of fixed that!

A good way to lose your credibility- Don't make this mistake.

That all depends on the neighbor's house, sometimes bare land is better than a shack next to your house! Just a joke of course, no problems with my neighbors.

    Loves Tire Pass service

One of the first things to go on a truck when it is mine is a TPM system, not that expensive compared to running a tire low and destroying it and or other parts of the truck, also you can monitor tire temperatures all while rolling! Very handy tool for catching tire problems in real time, not...

    Big Truck Tire Balance

I use this product in my personal pickup, no balancing in years and I get a smooth ride and decent tire life. Had a friend who had a Suburban that actually threw weights off, he tried the beads and smooth as can be, I haven't run them in a big truck, but they are used there too, can't see why...

Truckers GPS Mapping/Routes Are Not Being Updated in A Timely Fashion

Most of the data that your navigation GPS unit displays is provided by a 3rd party, in other words for the most part Garmin, Magellan, etc. aren't in the business of doing their actual map data acquisition. Inaccurate data is generally the fault of the base data from sources. One of the large...

    Looking into start expiditing

We have found long tem airport parking to be a somewhat safe, secure and fairly inexpensive solution for leaving the truck (I didn't run expedited, but similar truck). Some are less expensive than others (Charlotte as an example, I think it is less than $50 a week IIRC). No idea what expedited...

    It's a Team's Life Driver Pay

Greg, salary would be for an employee i.e.: company driver, there may be a whole lot less O/O under that salary plan too as it may not be worth the effort to be O/O at that price point? If you are a true O/O (not a lease slave to a large carrier) you would set your own rates, however with...
