I owned a 2003 Chevy 2500 All Wheel Drive with the 5.3L V8. At 65 i could get around 20 and at 70 I would get 17. The more the weight the lesser the millage. My 2008 Ford gets at best 16.5 on the hwy.

I remember back in the day if a load was 2k or just over I would negotiate a 1/mile instead of the 77c/m now they call me and want to put 2400 on my van for reg rate. I bought tires that barely allow over 2k to solve that problem.

A guy I talked to from my Carrier used to work at Bolt and he grossed 98k the year he worked there. A box truck driver I talked to the other day has been there 4 years and he loves it. The company I work for I would not recommend have not for several years.

How about the maint not cost an arm and a leg for simple things like head lights and oil changes. I have no desire to buy a vehicle that is assembled from parts made in Europe due to the high exchange rates. A gas engine instead of diesel would also be nice.

Subtle as in acceptence rate is below acceptable level and company unwilling to change it the few points to the accepted level thus I am constantly at the bottom of the board waiting for scraps that all the others do not accept.
