It's so , how do you say,..."cute"...lol..(another wisea## comment from a BIG TRUCK)...looks like a lot of planning and work went into it and looks great ,however needs something....oh I know, a FREIGHTLINER emblem.
I'm solo tractor/40' trailer which I use as a D unit here at Leam. I am more selective on what I haul now and a lot less willing to deadhead. Also a lot more conscience of what my driving habits are and trying to correct bad ones. Still busy enough for me, but I run out west mostly and this...
I recently installed this device in each tank on my fld-120. They installed very easy and look very formidal to would be slim ball fuel theives. Cost was $49.00 for two(shipping incld) which is about 10 gallons of fuel now, seemed cost effective. I have 300 gallon cap. so I do sleep better...
Are you ready to share the name of the new company? As I too drive t/t also, I like to know what others are doing (and i'm noisey..lol). Most often when folks move on after a long time at one place, you hear some grumlings. Your post was positive and informative. Your new carrier seems to be...
Thanks everyone, all great points.
Jack, I was pretty much involved in a deep discussion with the service writer ref my $24,000 bill to talk with the mechanic at lenght lol . He basically said they run them for a while at the factory and I was GOOD TO GO. Didn,t really have that warm fuzzy...
Will be returning to work after a few months off in a few weeks. I had a new motor put in at Detroit(12.7 series 60) and I need input on how to break it in. I've heard not to run them on cruise or to let them idle, but I don't really know. I have an apu so I don't idle and I usually run 65...
I think you get 62% because that is what your contract calls for. I don't know what a freight truck is, but a ranger driver starting in the last 4-5 years gets 67% of 98% of the linehaul. This can be increased by approx. 7 % if you pull your own trailer.
I left ranger 3 yrs ago and came to...
Everyone who hasn't 'DOZED" raise your hand...come on , let's see some hands...lol ..You kept it upright, freight got delivered, stuff happens, glad your pride was the only thing hurt other than the trk..
My wife Terry lost her battle with lung cancer today. She passed peacefully in her sleep and went to be with the Lord. Many of you have offered prayers and support and we as a family thank you all for the support. Greg Cummings, Leam #2774
Sitting at home a month now with my sick wife. Put the truck in the shop a week ago and getting a new motor . Stayed in service to see load offers and only had a few last week. Of course I live in Phoenix so that's an indication of NOTHING. Gladly accepting donations for motor work, lol...
You'll know because your tax guy will tell you that you would have made more money being the greeter at wal-mart and home every night; also we'll show you the secert handshake...
I've been home for a month now watching my wife die a slow painful death from lung cancer. It was her choice to smoke, so yes, her fault.
Here in Phoenix, they have several tv spots with people who use meth and what it does to their lives. I wish the same message was out there on smoking with...
I use to see New 3126 motors on ebay for $10k, but that was just the motor, no labor. I have heard you cannot rebuild this motor, but I've read ads on eo that said their trk had a rebuilt 3126. Go figure
aren't we still on strike? did someone call it off? did we get a raise? very poor communication here. i better take another week off until this gets resolved...
