    Off to Alaska

Turtle, I have to agree that's it's not the turbo. Because I was leaking at the turbo resonator, so I'm just going to start it over again and hope that works Thanks for the headsup on the scan gauge

    Off to Alaska

Still have the check engine light on. Lose power going up hills. Guess I'll pull everything apart and reinstall with the hope that will take care of the problem. I just don't think it the turbo, since it's only 1 year old it came with the motor. Well, I'm in Billings Mt and only have 2800 miles...

AZ scales and under 10,001 lb gvwr.

Because your vehicle has prepass and got a red light, that is why he was stopped. If no prepass no stop.

AZ scales and under 10,001 lb gvwr.

Number one why do you have prepass, we don't stop at scales, that is unless your have a placards on the side of the van. Two, I've never stopped at the Az scale in over 5 years.

    Off to Alaska

First day of my Alaskan adventure is in the books, started heart and turn a little bad. Check engine light came on with loss of power. Checked the hose from the turbo it's fine, also just put it in 2 months ago. Don't know if it's the turbo resonator. Guess I'll stop by autozone and put the...

    Cargo Van Buying New Van

Well, was ready to pull the trigger on a new van, but have decided to wait. I looked at my revenue from last year and this year and I'm 7500 under last year at this time. Way to many vans in the system to justify the expense. Guess, I'll go up in size of anything. Waiting to see if that will...

Anyone know the name of these companies running penske cube vans?

How are they running illegal, since, under 10,001 gvwr isn't regulated. You don't need a DOT number or anything. You are just a car running down the road under the law. The only time that changes comes into play when you have to placard a hazmat load, then your a commercial vehicle. You don't...

    General sprinter rearend question

When my transmission went I was also at a rest area for a bathroom stop and backed out and the van wouldn't go when I put it in drive. 4600 later back on the road. I hate that when I break down I'm usually out of town. I should add no warning at all. That happen at about 350,000 or so miles.

Believe what you want blizzard, I just know different when it comes to insurance. Most company insurance for anything is higher then if you got it on the open market.

    1 Million points question :)

Companies can require you to have insurance, but that cannot make you buy their insurance. You can purchase your worksmans comp thru your state if you want or other work related insurance thru a broker if it satisfies the coverage they are offering. As for suing companies where you got injuried...

    1 Million points question :)

Everything is spelled out in your contract for fees that the company can charge you, companies cannot charge you for anything that's not in the contract. Also I do believe the company cannot make you buy insurance from them, period. As for QC fees its in the contract you signed. None of us are...
