How to speed tie your shoes

That's what I wear now. But I would like to wear sneakers for better support of my feet. I buy $20 slip-ons from Walmart and wear them out.

How to speed tie your shoes

Awesome!!! I hate tie shoes because I'm always removing my shoes inside my van. Maybe I can rethink that problem now. Thanks

    Front Page Blogs

Kudos to the Caffee's for keeping their blog current. Part of what makes a web page interesting is seeing new things on the main page. I see Dale updated his blog yesterday. Now, if we could keep them all current they could be very interesting. Thanks, Caffee's.

    fueling mistake

Something is really wrong with the fuel prices. I just drove from Arlington, TX to St. Augustine, FL. Every truck stop had diesel at $3.00 or more per gallon. But, if I get off the highway to go to Walmart (Murphy Diesel), I save up to 30 cents per gallon. I have to believe that we are...

    Proof for Per Diem

The day you leave and the day you return home are each considered 3/4 per diem.

    Proof for Per Diem

By non-CDL I was referring to no longer having to have DOT med cards, log books, scales and all the other crap I've put up with since 2004.

    Proof for Per Diem

As a Class A and Class B driver, I have had log books to prove my time away from home. If I were to become a non-CDL driver, what proof can I use as a substitute for log books?

    go truck stop.com

I bought my Teletype GPS from them at the Dallas Truck show last August. Other than telling me that I wouldn't have to pay for upgrades for the GPS, they were no problem. But, I was so dissatisfied with the GPS that I wanted to return it. But, they don't do refunds; only exchanges. lol...

    What a nice picture

I like those lamps. They add atmosphere. And, sometimes, the right "mood".

Desk top computer in a truck?

A few years ago my laptop died on me. While I was getting it repaired, I put my desktop in the truck. I didn't have any problems because it wasn't running when the truck was moving. You are always taking a chance of the hard drive getting damaged when it is spinning while you are going over...

From Experienced driver back to student?

That's fine, Gregg. You go on thinking that it isn't "right". But, they hire you, you don't hire them. Trust me. They are strict and are getting stricter now that freight is slower. Why would they hire somebody that hasn't pulled and backed a 53ft trailer for over 3 years? It is not like...

From Experienced driver back to student?

That is a true scenario. I've already been refused by several trucking companies even though I have 1 year of T/T in the past 3. But now, they want more recent experience. Not all companies, but the better ones. Even with your own truck, leasing on, you have to have the experience. I almost...

    AA sleepers ,Ft. Worth

I like AA Sleeper. They are pretty close to where I live here in Arlington, TX. They have replaced my refrigerator in under 2 hours. Fixed my Alumibunk sleeper heat/AC for me. One of our trucks has their 96" sleeper. The other 2 have Alumibunk. Cabinets were great.

Is anyone stuck in North Dakota Weather

I just got a load going to Roseau, MN to Polaris. Picking up this morning in Laredo. Probably have to deliver Thursday morning. Hopefully. Hopefully. Hopefully the roads and sky will be less treacherous by the time I get to S. Dakota and N. Dakota on I-29 and then on into MN. Wish me luck.

    Home away from Home?

As a resident of Arlington, TX, I never have to take time off. I'm smack in the middle of Dallas and Ft. Worth on I-20. Not far from I-45 to Houston and in the middle of I-35E and I-35W. I drive right by on the way back from El Paso. If I deliver on a Friday nearby I know I'll be home for...

    At&t cell phones

I've had AT&T since 2005 and very happy with it. I especially like the rollover minutes. I just bought a Blackberry Curve at WalMart for $28, but it required me to extend my contract for 2 years. No problem. I have no intention of changing carriers.

    A.Blair Enterprises

Right. Distance from home makes no difference. I live in Arlington, TX and it appears to be the perfect place to live for me since I can stop at the house every time I'm running to/from Laredo or El Paso. I don't spend much time in Louisville but pass through there a lot. At this time...

    PrePass Discount on FedEx Forum

I couldn't post a reply on the FedEx Forum, I guess because I don't have privileges in that forum. Anyway, isn't the OOIDA discount for PrePass cheaper than what FedEx may have been giving you? I thought it was $13.50 with OOIDA. (I'm a member and have PrePass but I keep forgetting to...

    A.Blair Enterprises

    A. Blair has diversified from handling strictly NLMI. Although that has been the main part of our freight, they have been smart enough to branch out from there. Before Christmas, I brought an AC unit from Dallas to Tampa and returned with a load of computers from St. Pete going to DFW...

    Flying J Towing Scam

The FJ you are referring to is the closest to Houston and busier than most FJ's. I've been there early in the afternoon and have been unable to find a parking space. Flying J does not tow trucks if they are in a designated parking space. If they are parked in Fire Lanes or tow-away zones...
