What if a driver is temporarily unfit to drive?

Dude, you're quite possibly the only driver to ever be fired from Bolt Express...You're wearing the badge of honor...lol!

Bring on the snow, bring on the freezing rain, bring on the winter driving, and bring on the pain. That quotes for you Iceroadtrucker!

What are expedite trucking companies looking for today?

They're looking for newbies who don't know that running a straight truck at 1.50 per mile will put you into the poor house. All you get in expediting with the rates being as bad as they are right now is a bunk to sleep in and a Big Mac lol.

Canada looking for van load near i75 coming to canada

I honestly don't know how some of you guys are making it out there. It's gotta be rough. I have been staying within a six state area and turning down those long loads. I am never six hundred miles from home at any given point in time. Things have changed too much to go into the fringe areas...

Canada looking for van load near i75 coming to canada

Your company is definitely making more than 30 percent on those Canada loads. I can guarantee that. cross-border freight does not go cheap. There are a very few carriers and drivers who go cross-border!

    Finding Loads/Insurance/Help Please

I'd stick with the bigger carriers. Running your own loads is not worth the hassle unless you have your own customers. You might make a dollar a mile running your own loads, but you will eat up the extra money in cargo insurance, factoring fees, and other expenses. It will be very hard for you...

    need to work

Despite what this driver has done to receive a felony, he is on here trying to work and be a productive member of society. He could have just as easily robbed a bank since he is supposedly a criminal. Some felons make the best employees.

    need to work

What gets me is the mindset of my fellow Republicans. Some people will say that felons should not be hired, then they complain when these felons have to go onto the welfare system because they can't find employment. Or they complain about felons costing so much money to house in the prison...

    need to work

The person who calls the cops first is the one who gets away with it. If I call the cops first and report that you were the one who assaulted me first, you are the one who is going to jail and getting the felony charge on your record. Lets not judge this guy because he has a felony. Any one of...

    need to work

When has man ever been civilized? You can be as advanced and as politically correct as you want as a society, but we are still fighters. We fight everything that is different. We have developed weapons that can destroy the world a hundred times over. If I assault someone I'm a criminal. If my...

    Team Sprinter Freight

Even if you aren't getting more loads as a team than as a solo. At least you never have to drive tired ever again. I had days where I was pulling down 1k miles and begged god for a co-driver. It's rough out here in the vans. There are no regulations. It reminds me of the days when truckers could...

One good thing that came out of sitting in Effingham...I think...Ihope.

I've actually gotten loads out of Effingham on several different occasions. There is a company that makes plastic rolls out there that ships expedite loads to Pennsylvania. Don't knock the weird areas, because they might throw you a bone from time to time.

    My Battle of the Bulge

I watch what I eat every day. I have been for a long time now. I watch it slide off my fork and go right into my mouth. I watch a lot of delicious foods go into my mouth daily. I'm currently on the "see food diet." Whatever food I see I simply eat! I know one thing. I'm going to die happy!

Who is supposed to pay the liability and cargo insurance?

Also, isn't working with a whole bunch of carriers the same thing as the multi-carrier model as far as keeping track of insurance is concerned? A lot of carriers I see on safer web are only displaying primary liability limits of 750K, when in actuality they have signed contracts with partner...

Who is supposed to pay the liability and cargo insurance?

All I know is panther pays me a dollar plus per mile and they don't take any deductions from my paycheck for cargo insurance. Who would allow a carrier to deduct their paycheck for cargo insurance when they are only getting paid 90 cents per mile? That is a bottom feeder rate.

How do you make money with a cargo van?

Anyone can make money with a cargo van. That's not too hard to do. The questions is "how much money will you keep after your expenses are paid!" The only real way to make a million dollars driving a cargo van is to start out with two million!

Who is supposed to pay the liability and cargo insurance?

Who is going to pay for their carriers insurance when all they make is 90 cents per mile? I work at Panther and I get a dollar a mile and my carrier pays for the primary liability and cargo insurance. I pay less for insurance and I make more money than those guys who run for small mom and pop...

Who is supposed to pay the liability and cargo insurance?

I think that all carriers need to pay their drivers cargo insurance and the primary liability insurance. That should not be deducted out of the drivers settlement. The only thing a driver should pay for if they are leased on to a carrier is bobtail insurance, and personal injury insurance. If...
