I am a dispatcher/recruiter for UPS Expedite, have been here for over 10 years, so I guess you could call me the Senior dispatcher. as I stated above, there was no way we could anticipate the type of response we got, which is why we had to go the route of prioritizing ST teams, and certain areas...

    Dedicated TT runs

UPS Expedite is looking to cover a couple of lanes with TT runs. If you are interested in any of the below, please fill out the pre-application on the UPS Expedite page. Due to the fact that these need to be covered, there will be very little time before someone will get back to you. I will...

Solo trucks yes, but not for local runs...as you probably know, that area is usually pretty busy, but the freight is going all over the US. Whoever applies with us needs to be willing to run just about anywhere @ anytime.

We would like to apologize to those who have applied online or left a voicemail message stating interest in our company. when we launched on the site September 1st, we had NO IDEA the response would be as it has been, and as a result, haven't been able to get back to applicants as quickly as we...

    UPS Update

We are taking on Straight trucks, depending on their location (home base) for example, florida is not a really good area for us (yet) but Indiana, Illinois and Ohio are. My recruiting folks are stating that flexibility is key in the process. As a dispatcher, I can tell you it's frustrating to...

Yes, we are "under" UPS Supply chain services, but we are not the same company...we actually have moved freight for them also! We are in Overland Park, KS, with three other satellite offices in Dayton, charlotte, and El Paso. We don't have any control over their trucks, freight, or billing, nor...

I'm a dispatcher, been here almost from the beginning when we were still Emery. I'm not really at liberty to say exactly how many trucks we have, but it's significantly smaller than Panther II or Fed ex. if you were to guess between 30-100, you'd be close. we're still in the growth transition...

UPS is now on the site

As a UPS Expedite employee, I may be biased...but I think we do as good a job as any other expedited company out there. considering that the economy is in such a shambles, and fuel is in outer space, it's amazing that any of us are getting runs. just my opinion. :)
