    NFL wants the Bears

Hey, I'm in KC, and I saw the meltdown that the cardinals had last week against the Chiefs. two weeks in a row, at home, and you lose a 14 point lead? SOMEBODY has to be accountable for that, and I guess Denny decided it wouldn't be him, at least not yet....:7

personally, I would hope we would be moving away from NLM and the like, or at least decreasing the percentage of runs we do for them. right now, it's about 40-50%...I would like to see that down to about 25-30%. As a dispatcher, I know drivers really don't like having to run for lower than their...

    NFL wants the Bears

I'm a diehard bears fan, back from when they had Bob Avelleni at quarterback. I seriously doubt the NFL "wants" the bears to go undefeated. Are you somehow hinting at a conspiracy? Denny Green beat up the podium, may lose his job, and fired his offensive coordinator...does that sound like a...

I agree with that statement 100%, but you must remember, Under the Emery and Menlo regime, NLM was a huge part of our business. This is why I keep emphasizing that we are under SERIOUS transition, more than likely AWAY from things like NLM. the UPS Sales force is probably going to throw more...

    UPS expedite

At $1.45/mile, it's very difficult to bid on NLM loads and get any awarded to us. I know one nickel is not a lot, and I also know there are expeditors out there who are paying $1.20/mile for the very same reason. I guess management's mentality is this: would you rather have 1000 miles a week @...

East coast, West coast Local drivers Needed!!

For all of the hundreds of applications we have received, we have a serious lack of drivers who want to do local/airport recovery/delivery runs.
