The Trump Card...

In Other News ...

"Mike Lindell asked a Minnesota federal court to order his seized phone returned. The court already said no and cited - among other things - the 11th Circuit's smack down yesterday of Cannon and Trump." (Source)

Notice how the various Trump-world legal defeats are supporting others. Trump lost his bid to keep his tax records out of the NY AG's hands. The evidence she developed and lawsuit she filed will be cited by numerous prosecutors in other jurisdictions that open their own investigations. Yesterday's 11th Circuit court ruling is cited in the Lindell case. The Trump team's refusal to answer Special Master Dearie's request for evidence that Trump declassified certain documents was noted by the 11th Circuit.

Trump's children all have lawyers of their own and it's openly being questioned who will flip on who regarding the NYAG lawsuit. Trump's former CFO has pleaded guilty to certain crimes and the deal he made obligates him to tell the truth when he is soon in court and under oath, with lawyers there free to ask anything they wish.

This is just the beginning. A snowball effect has begun, not of public opinion, but of legal opinions issued by judges. Trump is at the bottom of the hill and increasingly powerless to dodge the growing snowball that is coming his way.

#LooseCannon is trying to cover her tracks ...

:tearsofjoy:
Too little too late. Judge Cannon has been thoroughly refuted and discredited by the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, on a national stage. A chorus of legal experts rose to discredit this judge and a court of appeals has now joined in. She'll likely keep her seat, but her reputation is forever stained.

It's interesting to learn from your links that the changes Judge Cannon made to her ruling, in response to the 11th Circuit's slapdown of her ruling, may deny Trump an appeal path the the US Supreme Court.

Special Master Tells Trump to Get Ready to Pony Up

When Trump won the case he brought to Judge Cannon, Cannon ordered Trump to pay 100% of the special master costs. In today's directive, Special Master Dearie outlined some of those costs and the billing procedure.

In short, Dearie is hiring an assistant who is a retired judge with a top secret security clearance. That man will be paid $500 per hour for work performed. Additionally, a document management company will be hired to scan and index 11,000 documents, and Judge Dearie's staff costs will also be charged to Trump. Trump will be invoiced monthly for these costs and has 7 days to dispute the amount or to pay up. If the amount is disputed, the objections will be "promptly reviewed and resolved."

"Plaintiff will submit payment in full as directed on the invoice. Failure to make timely payment will be deemed a violation of the Special Master’s order subject to sanction pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 53(c)(2)."

Remember when it was said Trump won the case he brought to Judge Cannon? I wonder if he's tired of winning yet.

The Left is unhinged with their hatred of Trump. The election denier AG’s dumb lawsuit is just another example. Anything to try to influence the upcoming election by meddling and to distract from Biden’s recession and epic economic chitshow. #Anditsgettingworse.
What about the two Trump-appointed judges and the Trump-recommended special master judge who are ruling against him in recent days or issuing Trump-adverse requirements? Do they hate Trump? Are they trying to influence the election? Are they trying to meddle and distract from "Biden's recession?"

Cannon No Longer Keeping Tabs on Special Master

"The provisions of Cannons order that were stricken include Paragraph 6, which requires the Special Master to submit interim reports and recommendations to the court throughout their review, as well as Paragraph 5(b)(i)(bb), which requires that classified documents under review be made available to Trump’s counsel for inspection under supervision of the special master." (Source)

As originally intended, The special master will report his recommendations to Judge Cannon when the special master decides his work is completed, but it seems Judge Cannon is no longer interested in receiving interim reports.

Trump's Path to an Appeal to the Supreme Court is Blocked by Judge Cannon

Cannon did not overtly rule that Trump cannot appeal the special master case to the U.S. Supreme Court, but by amending her order as she did, Trump's path has been effectively blocked. At least that's what several legal experts are saying. One example here. Others provided by RLENT above.

11th Circuit Court of Appeals Identifies 13 Errors in Cannon's Ruling

"While there are extraordinary circumstances where a court may need to step in after law enforcement seizes property pursuant to a valid warrant, the 11th Circuit explains, those extraordinary circumstances only arise when the government “displayed a callous disregard” for a criminal suspect’s constitutional rights. But Cannon conceded in her decisions that the Justice Department has not shown such disregard for Trump’s rights.

"That alone, according to the opinion, 'is reason enough to conclude that the district court abused its discretion' in ruling in favor of Trump. (emphasis mine)

"Having identified this error, the 11th Circuit then spends an additional 12 pages flagging more than a dozen other errors in Cannon’s reasoning."
(Source)

Before Trump brought his special master request to Cannon's court, Cannon's notoriety was less than that of many Federal Judges. Now she is a national name said by millions to be a political hack and/or an utterly incompetent judge. What public support she gained and enjoyed before the 11th Circuit shredded her ruling has dried up. Judge Cannon now stands alone, and not in a good way.
