Even Darwin said the tree wasn't an accurate depiction, that it was probably more of a dense thicket than something as simple as a tree.

But this is how science works. Theories are tested, and whatever parts of the theory aren't affirmed gets altered to fit the facts, or they get discarded. Very few scientific theories nail it 100% from the get go.

The biggest revelation to me is the fact that more species cross breed than previously thought. This explains a lot.:rolleyes:

I'm wondering whether for the OP the fact that Darwin was (perhaps partially) wrong is offset by that interbreeding of various different species thing ... :rolleyes:
