Why rag on Palin?

Why would ANYBODY want to rag on Palin when this dude (dud) is back? Glad to see that "silly" is NEVER out of season in American politics.

Greene back on ballot, this time for SC House seat

By JEFFREY COLLINS, Associated Press – Tue Feb 15, 5:35 am ET
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Three months after losing his improbable campaign for U.S. Senate, Alvin Greene is on the ballot again in South Carolina.

This time, the 33-year-old is trying to win the Democratic nomination for a state House seat anchored in his central South Carolina hometown of Manning.

Greene appears to be using a familiar strategy. The other three candidates in Tuesday's primary say they haven't seen Greene out much shaking hands or giving speeches. Greene also missed a debate with all the candidates last month.

Greene isn't talking about his strategy. He told a reporter from The Associated Press "no comment" on the phone when asked Monday what kind of campaigning he has been doing.
Greene did say he was feeling OK about Tuesday's vote.

Maybe because Palin is trying to influence a country and exploiting her "fame" while Green is just trying to win a seat in congress?

I can't take Palin seriously when she has a TV show, has Kate **** *** on her show and her daughter is dancing around. She would do great in the background getting rid of or at least scaring the crap out of the old guard in the GOP but alas she, like many others in politics sees the $$$$ and doesn't stand for any real concrete leadership principles out in front, just behind the scenes.

Green on the other hand is exposed of what he is, there is no where for him to hide and has not been exploiting his situation as others have. It is up to the state of South Carolina and the voters to decide if he is the guy to represent them.

Yeah, all true, but a joke is a joke. It it pretty darn hard to get kicked out of the military. I bet the Dumb-O-Crats are PROUD of that feat!! They LOVE failures!! What a "WHEEEENER" this guy is!!

But see I think you are wrong. You are equating the past of someone with their ability to represent the people that elect them by the standards they set.

For me it is a double edge knife. I mean that I can't vote for him nor can I say he can't run. If he is in congress, and affects me, like Dingle, then I can comment but then look around and see what the republicans put up as examples of their party too.

Never said that he could not run. IF he wins it would be a FINE example of just why this country is in such sorry shape.

Yes, I DO equate character with ability. Getting kicked out of the military shows a LOT about your LACK of character.

I also NEVER said that the ReBumLiCans put up better candidates than the Dumb-O0Crats do. Like I said, silly is NEVER out of season in American politics.

I'm glad to see that you understand how "silly" it is for Palin to enter the race for the Presidency and that Greene is trying to run for a House seat in South Carolina. Like you said, "a joke is a joke" and either one of them running for any type of office is just that, a joke.

EVERY politician that I see out there today, including Obama, is a JOKE!! We, as a country, should be ASHAMED of the lack of quality candidates our political system attracts. It IS our fault, we do NOT DEMAND quality and most just pull the "D" lever or "R" lever based on, for the most part, no good reason.

The only reason to attack Palin is because the left is scared she has a good chance of winning by being able to use her political stances and now playing off her celebrity status. The odd thing is they are the ones keeping her in the news by attacking her and causing her to speak out which if they continue could end up backfiring, not that I would vote for her.

There are enough cases where people who served also lacked character.

Never said otherwise, but you have to be pretty bad in one or more ways to get kicked out. I can't say that I have EVER met a person of character who got kicked out. It takes a LOT to accomplish that feat.

Because she makes it sooooo easy to do so.

Yeah, just like a LOT of politicians, like KIng Putz the 1st, Uncle Teddy, John Edwards, George Bush etc etc etc. They are ALL the same. Useless BARFFOONS!! I know watching Barry or even hearing his voice makes ME want to BARF!!! I sure hope he never has to give a speech while he as a cold. Looking up his nose as he looks down on his "pets" while he had a cold would be disgusting!!

Why? To divert attention from the real issues? I can't get it to conform to a nice tabbed structure but it's easy enough to read. The first number is the day "hope and change" went to work, the second the figures from end of January, the percent change and the key to the sources listed at the bottom.

Just take this last item: In the last two years we have accumulated national debt at a rate more than 27 times as fast as during the rest of our entire nation's history. Over 27 times as fast! Metaphorically, speaking, if you are driving in the right lane doing 65 MPH and a car rockets past you in the left lane 27 times faster . . . it would be doing 1,755 MPH!

Leo,
When Bush entered the WH, he was faced with the same exact problems as does Obama. He had a failing economy, with a deficit that was out of control because of an out of control congress and a mounting national debt. Within the first 18 months we saw unreal growth of our federal government, our spending was more out of control, debt was increased more than the numbers show and we ended up with a serious security mess that is not only d*mn near impossible to unravel but also put a big dent in our rights and freedoms through the need to keep terrorism in check.

We are not as safe as we could be and still manage to have people complain about the numbers while ignoring that this has been going on for years.

I like this. Really. Imagine if Greene won. No, not for the state position, but for the US Senate. Ok, let's make it the House; the stakes are higher in the Senate. Then, to balance him out, the Republicans would have to have one congressman for comic relief. Maybe that Basil Marceaux guy or that dufus who screamed his speech in a party meeting at which he sought the nomination for a county treasurer position in Ohio.

Can you imagine the evening news every night? What a SCREAM that would be!:D They could cover those two at the end of the news like they do for "the lighter side" stuff. Just make sure both parties have one of those guys at all times to make it even.
