can someone tell me why does it take so long to hear back from a company? all i hear is that everyone needs drivers or co-drivers. i have been contacted by a fed ex cc o/o and sent all papers to him. but he cant find co-driver for me to hook up with. does any one here need a co-driver (class b) thanks much,dennis

You're actually dealing with the owner, not the company from what it sounds like, so I wouldn't think the bottleneck is with the company.

Tell him you'll drive solo, it is better than an idle truck.

All one hears about is the driver shortage with very little media attention devoted to the recruiter/human resources personnel shortage. We as a nation must first deal with the recruiter/human resource shortage before we can begin to address the driver shortage. One crisis at a time. Within six years we should begin to see high school seniors filling entry level recruiter/human resource positions with the requisite Masters Degree in hand. Have faith and be patient.

maybe going VAN?

i have been trying to get a job through fed ex cc . the o/o cant seem to get me a co-driver. i have a class b working on hazmat should get it this week. im wondering if there are any o/o of cargo vans that need a driver. im a very hard worker. please contact me if your in need. i live near houghton lake,michigan

There are lots of adds in the "free classified" section. There are always owners looking for drivers.

Keep one thing in mind, expediting is NOT a job. If you come into this thinking like that you will likely fail. This is a business and you MUST think of it that way.

yea his tag says northern michigan and he said he is from houghton lake which is in mid michigan.

Tough one there. That area has always been considered part of "up north". We used to hunt deer near there years ago. Off of county road F97 just south of Maple Valley.
