I'd like that - got fuel b4 the blizzard, but not groceries:( but 81 SB is still closed, and the buzz is that it probly won't open till tomorrow morning. [Better than a rockslide, I guess.]
And if it does reopen, I can't stop - have a load on board, and have lost nearly 24 hrs already, sigh.
We'll catch up one of these days, Piper. :)

There's still no snow in Laredo, but it did get a bit dicey yesterday. It was overcast and a little breezy and for a moment I thought I might have to put on a sweater. I ended up being fine without one.

Whoa! It's 80 in the sleeper, better fire up the Rigmaster for some A/C.

Good thing you weren`t counting on me for food Cheri, I spent the night south of Charleston as a guest of the WV Turnpike. I would have thought that all those fancy message boards in Charleston might have told you the road was closed, but no, they left that up to the girls at the toll booth. Didn`t get going till after 10 am again. Now comfortably at the J in Blacksburg SC, not even a hint of snow....

Don't sweat that 24 hours, stuff happens. No one controls the weather. Sorry you did not get the chance to stop for groceries. Just a thought you might think on. We carry 3 days worth of de-hydrated hikers food on the truck all winter, just in case of things like this. We use them up and change them every 2 years. Keep that in mind , might help in the future.

Oh good, better than starving, keep that stuff in mind, it could save your life. We have an entire winter emergency kit. It has fire starters, lighters and waterproof matches, signal mirror, a hand axe and a small saw. We carry a shovel too. Good luck and stay safe.
