We knew this was going to happen, the really sad thing is the back to back newscasts of Jackson and conyers - three hours of nothing but BS.

He not only knew about it but they are not bringing up the fact that his staff helped her with her re-election which I thought was kind of like illegal to do. Something about mis-use of federal employees, seeing they were all paid with our federal tax money.

Well, as you know Greg, Detroit is FAMOUS for it's SLIME people!!! Not unlike Chicago and the State of Louisiana!!!

I won't get into the New Orleans thing, that city can sink as far as I am concern but Chicago, well Detroit is no where near as corupt as Chicago and it will never be like Chicago except for Michigan Avenue running through it.

See Chicago works, it is that simple. If you look around the city functions and there is no fighting like here in the former motor city. Conyers was only a tiny issue, wait until your taxes go up because of Cobo or the new home of the red wings, they won't think just a tri county area because of declining revenue but the region will need to pitch in.

Speaking of Cobo, these idiots are so convinced that they need to keep the auto show - oh I mean the dealer's show downtown that they will screw the entire area to get the expansion. Today I heard what the carpenter's and operating engineers were lobbying lansing for, the expansion of Cobo because of the fat deals that the companies will get with the "NO BID" style contracts.

It's worst than DC, DC technically is a congressionally run city, and it is federally funded AND DC should never EVER get congressional representation - EVER.

There is nothing like Detroit from the politics down. This is a Union town, and being a Union town there is little accountability.

The last great mayor, Kawmee promised to fix the streetlights in most of the neighborhoods, but I know of a lot of areas that never seen light after dark STILL.

Bing, the new temporary Mayor made the comment that Conyers should stay on the council while others are saying she should go. I think his interest is about political payback from Conyer's hubby.

The entire city should be ashamed with themselves, not just the good people who want to see it improve but everyone.

Here is a funny thing, they have so many churchs and 'pastors' that they have a Pray for Detroit campiagn going on that is funded by state money, yep the state is endorsing it. The funding is funneled through some back door deal with Jenny.
