I guess we won't have to worry about that. The GOP damage is being fixed, it's a slow process. You can't just snap your fingers and undo the mess left by probably the worst president in our great nations history.
The conservatives do not have all the guns either. They are just the ones clinging to them in a state of paranoia.

Come on Doug, you should drop the catch phrases, slogans and party clap trap. Noble causes, paranioa, give me a break. I understand that the real world is very hard and on the tough can do well but it is far more interesting than 15 second sound bites, you should try it some time.

I have noticed something kinda funny. Many libs today say things like "I own a gun" or "Some of my best friends are gun owners" Kinda reminds me of the civil rights movement in the 60's when SOME whites would say: "Some of my best friends are black" Maybe the guns that a lib would own are the "Token Guns?" LOL!! Things never change

Where is the contradiction? I do own guns, and I am not clutching them in fear of them being taken away.

Actually that was my point. Gun ownership seems to be a loosely defined issue with some so if it is a problem, then will he be a good Obama follower and give up his guns?

Well Doug, I did not fall for anything. I don't like either party and will NOT back Obama in any way, shape or form. He does NOT speak for me, he cannot care for me and will NEVER control me. You might want that, but not I. I was born a free man and will die one. Sooner or later, it does not matter, it WILL be on MY terms. Only I have the RIGHT to determine my fate. Under the Constitution the Federal government has NO rights what so ever, ONLY the States have limited Rights but the bulk of all the RIGHTS in this country reside with the PEOPLE. Obama, the Congress etc have no right to force health care and all the other garbage that they are forcing on me. They are out of control, with your blessings.

I realy hope the issue of loosing the right to bare arms never comes to light. I for one would defend that right to the death or the prison gate. I could never agree with legal ownership being taken away when they in no way shape or form have control over criminals having guns or using them in the commission of there crimes. Taking them from law abiding citizens is not the answer. Who then would control the population of wildlife without the hunter. The people for this stricter gun control are only looking at it as criminals use guns they are not looking at it from a hunters stand point other than to think you shouldn't shoot such cute animals not thinking for a moment what a population explosion would occure over a short time without hunters doing what they do,or the billions of dollars that hunters spend helping to maintain a healthy population of wildlife. The beauty of wildlife is because of hunters. Could you imagine if the 4 or 5 deer that visit the corner of their yard grew to 15 or 20 because of gun control,they would then wonder why are the deer so skinny,why does that deer keep falling down and can't get up. Enjoy the beauty and embrace and thank the legal gun owning hunter for helping to provide you that beautiful view and experience.
