I have been talking about this for years. Let us NOT forget what he did to our people who were stationed there when our Embassy was attacked. Carter KNEW the attack was coming. The Agency I worked for got our people out. So did many other agencies. Carter would NOT allow the diplomats to leave, he did NOT believe that the attack would occur, even though he was given VERY accurate information, WAY more accurate than what is normally seen in the intell world. If I were one of those hostages I would have sued Carter, or worse.

There has always been a lot of talk about this, I just really appreciated an article with a time line of sorts that helps explain it.
It was a fairly good artical. I was susposed to have been there when it went down but Mrs. Layoushooter put the brakes on that assignment. She always was smarter then me!! My friends who did go lost everything they owned. They were NOT reimbursed for over 18 months. That in itself was a crime. Carter is one of only a few that is on my "List". The list consists of people that if they were to be hit by a truck I would pay for the truck repairs. Very very few reside on that list.
Carter is the worst president of the last 100 years if not the worst in the history of the nation. Our current failure is on track to vie for the title with him but for now Carter has to be it. Yes, 444 days under Carter and how many hours captivity under Reagan?

Very good stuff! Reading thru it, I can now understand some of the memories I had from the time, when I was a kid.
The article mentioned Carter's Malaise speech. I googled it, read it, and was sickened by it. Like Obama, he deflects blame, counts on the American ppl to understand his socialist agenda is for the good of all America, then pushes America to be patriotic, regardless of rising taxes. Tho Ford wasn't much better as a president, I think he would've supported the Shah, and increased our own oil production. Reagan was the trade off for Carter's ineptness. I call it a wash; Carter was just THAT bad.

He has been a disgrace and a big embarrassment to the country.
But T-hawk, Ford couldn't be anything other than Ford, See our messiah has been using the work inherited in a false way, trying to fool people like Granholm has been trying to fool us here. Ford actually inherited a bunch of problems because he wasn't elected, he was the successor of Nixon. LBJ when he became JFK's replacement he inherited JFK's problems - see what I mean. Ford had a hard job and understanding the problems and mess the media and the left cuased for most of us, it is not hard to understand he didn't do all that bad.
