Call me paranoid if you like

I don't know what is true and wasn't anymore. I have recently heard that Hillary is going to have the delegates vote on the floor at the Democratic Convention that is coming up. If she pulls that and gets the nomination I think things could get hairy. I also believe things could get bad if Obama isn't elected in the fall, if he gets the nomination, which it looks like he will. I really don't like McCain, and the way it stands now we have no strong third party candidate to vote for. The way I feel right now is a vote for anyone besides McCain is a vote for Obama. That is something that I personally can't do. I have told family they need to stock pile non-perishables because I see a riot coming and we may not want to leave our homes. When I tell them the way I feel about these things they laugh or just shake their heads. Most members of my family think I'm paranoid. One day my predictions will come true. When they do I will be ready. I hope everyone will, but chances are they won't be. It will be a time of "survival of the fittest and most prepared". I will be prepared will you?

can you really vote for obama. a man who really doesnt believe in our declaration of independence??? a man who says we are going to fix the problems???but who has yet said how he will fix the problems...a man who will not swear in as president over the bible??which are the principles our country was founded on,, a man who will swear in over the koran, who or which is against the west (america) i mean all candidates are a member of the owg (one world government) but he is the candidate to bring it out with his asian ties...

Ark... regarding riots, you might be too young to remember the race riots in Los Angeles in April 1992. Surreal, bizzarre, but all too real. I will never forget Whoopi Goldberg announcing on live television, "We're gonna burn this city to the ground!" For six days, LA was a war zone. Over 50 dead, hundreds injured and tens of millions of dollars in property torched. It was carried live on CNN 24 hours a day. This was before the advent of cell phones. Now, it would be much harder to contain since the rioters can coordinate by cell phone in real time. If you want to get a glimpse into the soul of anarchy, do some research on this topic. I think video clips are still available on the internet.

Ark,
The best person for the dems is Hillary, not because she will win but she will give McCain the best and fairest chance to be president.

In all seriousness, the problem of Hillary demanding a vote may shove in the open the cheating that they are doing with the super delegates and all that cr*p. As a party, Dean will try hard to get his man in as candidate for the dems. It is really sad that many don't get the idea that the dems are the ones who don't want people to think and vote, just vote.

But what ever you think, the party is the one who makes the decision, not the people voting in the primaries.

Riots? Well you and I know what that's all about.

There are to many sheep in this country. We have gotten where we vote for whoever the media tells us to. We also need to start voting in some new people in Congress. I am presently encouraging everyone to look at the ballot on voting day and vote against all incumbents. Regardless of the position, and how you feel about that person. From Senator all the way down to dog catcher. We need to show these people we are holding them accountable. I'm tired of these people thinking serving us is an easy paycheck and retirement.

I have been posting something simular my friend..If/when the riots do happen our friends who some folks believe are Gods chosen and we are suppose to pay homage and bow down them, will attack Iran. Probably fire on the US Fleets in the Gulf make it look like Iran did it and Bingo it gets really bad. 911 would just be a start. Look how many ideas our news media/hollywood have given the would be terriost. Your right stock up...

There will be riots of Obama loses or wins. All you have to do is look at Detroit. Everytime the Pistons win a NBA championship the party turns into a mini-riot. SOOOO, if he loses people will riot over the "racism" that casued him to lose and if he win they will riot to celebrate his victory. An historical side note. I was raised in a suburb south of Detriot. At the outset of the '67 riot there out local police force noticed that they did not have any kind of long riot stick if they were needed. They contacted the shop teacher at my high school and he got in touch with several of us and we went in to the shop and turned several ash riot sticks on the school lathes. They were never needed as the riot never got down as far as us but they had them!!! Layoutshooter

OH yea, you suburbanites had it easy in '67. We were three blocks away from some of the fun stuff going on and I had to deal with a group of national guard trying to shoot anything on my street, including me! Small kids with dogs made easy targets!

Well I live a block outside of Detroit and I do expect problems - big problems. Layout is right, we riot for any reason , at this point I think they should be burning down the Manoogian Mansion :) but Detroiters seem to be too dumb to understand that they are being taken for a ride.

BUT the LA rioters were rewarded by Maxine Waters and our tax dollars, forget the idea that the real victims never really got justices, those mean Koreans who actually had businesses there in the war zone.

I have said this before, but I will say it again. Not to be a jerk. But, I believe this will be a factor in the fall.

I really dont think Obama will win. There are various reasons why I feel that way. But, a key reason is this. His two main talking points are starting to go McCain's way. 1. Fuel prices are coming down. As you know, high fuel costs raise the price of almost everything else. If fuel cost continue to fall...this is very good for McCain. Obama will not be able to speak about a weak economy as much as he would have been able to do otherwise. 2. The progress in Iraq we have been seeing is another topic that favors McCain. Especially since he is the one who authored the Surge campaign. Which obviously has been a success. This is an area McCain can exploit by stating that his experience and knowledge makes him the most qualified candidate.

I kind of wish I would of never posted about it all. Look who is behind it all..Latest I heard , have not read is billary is going to call some kind of vote out at their convention...Just a primer to get the flame high to get the water boiling..I am worried about when Israel attacks Iran and the Muslims of the world have enough of them thinking they can do whatever they want with impunity because of USA backing..We have already seen it here,,it says in this book do what they tell us... Stock up just in case. Get property or ask friends to go in on a little place in the boonies or something till the smoke clears. I tell the naysayers,,,is it not strange someone pretty much unknown challenged billary let alone beat them.?.especially a man of color? Do you think our masters knew exactly what they were doing and the outcome when they put him up there???? For Gods sake you nonbelievers wake up and look around you.

Hi Greq,

Do you remember the NG machingun emplacements on Fort Street in '67? They were in the median strip, just north of the Kemmeny(SP?) recreation center. My mother knew the family that that place was named after. I can remember sitting on our front porch during the riot. All the neighbors were outside most of the time, day and night, armed. No one was going to pull that garbage in our town. We did not have to worry though, they were more intent on burning down thier own homes and businesses. Smart, very smart. Hate everyone else so naturally you burn your own place down. Great times in the old town eh? Don't forget Detroit's world famous celebration of Devil's Night!!! Just a practice for after the election. Layoutshooter

Excuse me? When the Pistons won two years ago, there was nada! Maybe a little mischief, but nothing I'd call a riot. Now, Montreal, on the other hand...

I'm glad I don't live anywhere near a town with a professional sports team. the closest one is Memphis about 3 hours away and I don't think the Grizzleys are that good. Then you have Dallas about 6 hours away. That's a long way for a riot to travel over a sporting event.

I just have a feeling when Obama looses we will see the true colors of certain groups that say they practice non-violence. Of course I think it goes without saying that the likes of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Rev. Wright, and Farrakan will be outraged. I'm sure they are devising a plan as we speak.

There prolly will be. When Hillary dont get the nod, she will drop to the ground and proceed to kick and scream. This will be followed by some blow up by Billy. Chelsea will then claim sexism is alive and well in the democratic party. Followed by all the Obama fans laughing their behinds off thinking of the racist crap their man has endured. Then, the light bulb will come on for a bunch of peeps who are undecided. They will see how much of a circus this is and vote for McCain. LOL What a riot!! Im laughing already! :)

Well Kwamie was to go to Denver.... then the judge said no.... another judge said that he was too important not to go.....then another judge said Kwamie who? and told him to stay home.... then just before that happened, the Obama camp told Kwamie "you should not come here, we don't need you because you are taking headlines away from us"...... so poor kwamie, the man can't get a break.....

Well Layout,

The city is a reflection of the region, not the leader. Like the Cobo hall mess, the regions priorities are all screwed up. Instead of using the silver dome properly to build a proper convention center (freeway access, hotel space near by, restaurants, a slight lack of killing in the streets - near great place for it), they want to tax us to 'expand' cobo hall because of the auto show.

we look at Detroit as coming back but I haven't seen the train station come back to life yet or lights working in what is left of the neighborhoods.

It is a real shame Greg, it was not that bad when we were growing up. It was at the crossroads at that time and it turned "left" insted of "right" and we can see what happened. Now about the only thing that could fix Detroit is a few hundred thousand bulldozers lined up blade to blade. A few hundred thousand tons of C4 would help too. Make Belle Ilse a prison. The "killer carp' would keep the thugs from swimming across. Layoutshooter

as i live a ways out of town, and hopefully any riot would be confined to the cities, hopefully things won't escalate to be a problem. as a historical note on the personal side.. arrived in compton ca for visit with relatives the day the riots started. remember lots of pickups with men in the back roaming the area.. ... ...

worst case hope the ammo holds out ...
