Hi Everyone,

National Trucker Appreciation Week is September 16th through the 22nd.  It's symbolic, true, but it's also a time to look at where truckers are today.

The Transportation of Goods has always been vital to the U.S. Economy.  As Independent Contractors and Business Owners, YOU MOVE AMERICA!  Thank you for your hard work!

The Trucking Industry is evolving and adapting to meet the needs of our nation.  Safety Scoring and other regulations are making an immediate impact.  All companies are recruiting Owner Operators, but the drivers with the best Safety, Driving and Service Experience Records are in very high demand.

As in ANYTHING that is in high demand, eventually the market will begin to REWARD YOU for your business that YOU built on your excellent Safety and Driving experience.

...and you DESERVE to be rewarded.

For any Owner Ops out there who are not Professionals, don't care so much about performance, conduct lax services or other poor habits for the Motor Carrier or Shipper resulting in accidents, traffic violations and bad safety inspections?

...all signs indicate your days are numbered.

Motor Carriers can't afford to take the chance.  It's too costly now as the Owner Operator's bad performance adversely affects their own scores in real time on SMS, the FMCSA Safety Measurement System.

Contracting with professional Owner Operators is important than ever to Motor Carriers, as their customers, shippers, brokers and their insurance companies will also be reviewing the scores.

Thank you again to all the Professional Owner Operators who MOVE AMERICA, and hang in there...you're about to be very appreciated even more.

Warm Regards,

Shelly Benisch, CIC
