John's CIS Road to Dallas

Hi Everyone,

Well, John's "Road to Dallas" tour in the CIS Show Sprinter is under way!  He left at the crack of dawn Saturday and has "hit" over 40 truck stops.  Here, I'll let him tell you more:

"Started Saturday, loaded up the CIS Sprinter the night before and have had perfect weather so far through this Monday Morning.  I've enjoyed stopping at the 40+ truck stops for chance visits to old friends...I love it when I see you guys out there in person to spend a few minutes to catch up and hand out some goodies.

Hopefully, (especially folks I DON'T know) didn't mind too much me jumping up the step to place a new set of CIS/Progressive Work gloves on your windshield.  I did not mean to be "peeping John", LOL.

It was fun for me to stop South of Nashville to sit with a bunch of great Expediters camped out under some shady trees.  Since I brought no food, I felt like Yogi Bear, 'Wheerre's the picinic basket?'  Thanks for sharing, it was a relief on a hot afternoon.

I salute the van and sprinter guys and gals I met in West Memphis, geesh it was hot!  I can appreciate how hard you all work when I see you out on the road versus the typical truck shows.

Expediters are the best!

If you see me today, please wave...I go through Texarkana to the Big D tonight...woohoo!  I have about 12 more truck stops to hit before I get to Dallas so it'll take me the rest of the day.
