Where the wind blows......

The only time we really can make plans for our day is when we are under a load, on a dispatch or out of service.   As time goes on and you learn the system you learn while not under a load when you are pretty safe putting your clothes in the washer or sitting down for a meal.   Sometimes we get caught in this and get a load offer but not very often.   Not knowing how are day is planned out is really not a big deal as you plan around no plan!   We do not start any projects that cannot be put away quickly so we can be moving.   Do we just sit around and stare at the walls while waiting? NO WAY we have way too much to do that can quickly be put in where it belongs.   When I am out walking I do not get so far from the truck that I cannot quickly run, jump to the truck and get what I need to get done and be rolling.   We both have projects we can do in the truck or to the outside of the truck while we are waiting.   So nope where the wind or the load goes is fine with us!   We plan to not make plans while we are waiting for our next load!
