Random 2012 Business Costs
In 2012 our truck was involved in an incident and was out of commission for almost two months. During the time our truck was down we became drivers for Expedite Services. We were able to put 109886 miles on our truck bringing our total miles on our Cascadia 203314 and the truck still feels brand new.
Here are a few of our costs and a little about what they mean to us:
Fuel: $35,800 which gives us a figure of .32 cost per mile to move the truck.
Fuel - Off Road fuel for ONAN Generator $1175
We do not idle our truck for heat, for cooling or while waiting to load or unload.
Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) $944
Our DEF cost is .008 per mile
Laundry $303
Truck Wash $708
Truck Repair and Maintenance $4080
This includes new Michelin XZA3 Plus steer tires and all new batteries.
Lifetime fuel mileage for this truck is 11.449
