Preparing for a New Year

2009 has been an awesome and hard year for us.   Income was not what we had hoped for but at the same time we were in a position to make the best out of not having as much freight as we would have liked.   We had more down time then we have ever had in the past and in ways that gave us many opportunities to explore other areas of interest.   Bob started writing articles that interested him and we also became involved in other areas of trucking. We have joined two groups; The Trucking Solutions Group and its subsidiary group  The Trucking Solution Health Group.   These two groups have some amazing business owners involved who are also truck drivers. Both groups are very active and keep us on the cutting edge of trucking related knowledge including new and existing products and new laws that affect us.   We have made some very interesting new and diversified friends and also have enjoyed our friendship with old friends.   We continue to increase our knowledge of our business and ways to improve in 2010.

We have both made some personal goals including personal health goals, knowledge goals, improving our business, and also better ways to stay in touch with friends and family.   As the New Year gets closer I will start a 2009 goal list that I will keep on the desktop of my computer.   My goal is to do as well with my 2010 goals as I did with my 2009 goals!
