Pet Peeve

Have you ever tried to stop someone from telling you about a stupid  TV show they just watched? I have and it does not work or they do not get what I am trying to say. If it is so darn stupid wipe it out of your mind, do not share it. I even have told people I do not watch TV as I get tired of what I consider stupid shows or stupid comedy. Today when someone said I have to tell you about the stupidest show I have ever watched, I said "If the show was so stupid please do not tell me about it as I do not want to know." That did not work, so next I said "Really if the show is stupid keep it to yourself." Nope, that did not work. They changed it from being the dumbest show ever to just being slow, but it had a couple funny parts. I am thinking to myself really I do not need to all of this, but I give in and listen to a long tirade about the stupid show they just watched. Then they finish I said, "Yes, it was stupid. Now can we go on with life? There really is a reason to not share how dumb you were to watch the stupidest show ever and then want to share.
