Both of our pets have been raised in the truck, and Squeaky rules the roost. Texas is somewhat afraid of Squeaky, and when given a chance, she will tease him, but usually, Squeaky has the upper hand.
This video is one example of how goofy this cat is as he reaches under the door to swat at her hind legs. She ignores him, so he does move on to other pursuits.
When we built this sleeper, we had one cupboard that was made for him, which includes an outside door for ease of cleaning his litter box. The cabinet is divided, and one area is for his private dining area, and the other is his restroom. The arraignment works very well. We do have new doors that will go on the cabinet when we sell the truck if the new owners do not have a spoiled cat.
During this stressful time, our pets have no idea that life is not normal and keep us entertained and balanced.
