Perfect Teeth and Eyesight
As we have gotten older I believe things do not matter as much or we get to thinking of why do we do certain things?
Going to the eye doctor each year or every other year and having our prescription not change or change a small amount and then be expected to get new glasses seemed crazy. Once again my mind went to how does this doctor's office make money? Oh right, because our eyes are a little worse and need new glasses. Glasses are very expensive when purchased at the optometrist's office but there are alternatives to purchase glasses online. Is there a need to go to the eye doctor every year? How does an optometrist make money?
Dentists make money by giving everyone a perfect smile with nice straight shining teeth. Is it a necessity to have perfect teeth? The dentist's goal is for each patient to have the perfect smile all the way to the grave. Is that the patient's goal as well? Again, how does a dentist make money?
The question has been asked: do we really need to die with perfect teeth and eyes? If your eyes or teeth affect quality of life by all means get the problem fixed.
