New Adventure!
The official launch and introduction of the Pro's will be held at MATS. We will be joining long standing, Henry Albert, who transitioned from a Slice of Trucker Life driver into the new Team Run Smart Program.
Bob and I will both blog on the web site each week, be active in the forums, and also contribute to the articles. As one of the Pro's we will also attend truck shows, dealer appearances and have some guest radio spots.
Here is a little about the web site and in a future blog I will talk about the "Pro's"
The Team Run Smart web site is based on four pillars, Health Smart, Business Smart, Truck Smart, and Fuel Smart. The pillars each have equal importance and we need all four to keep our business on the positive side.
The Health Smart pillar has information about staying healthy on the road, ideas on how to exercise using the truck, or even ideas on how to bring a bicycle with you in the truck.
The Business Smart pillar deals with learning better ways to keep the paper side of trucking out of the red. Articles are posted on how to understand IFTA, tax deductions, talking to carriers, and figuring (PPM) Profit Per Mile.
The Truck Smart Pillar addresses everything to do with trucks from minimizing downtime, tips and ideas to keep the truck rolling down the interstate making money.
The Fuel Smart pillar deals with ways to reduce aerodynamics drag, increase fuel mileage, ideas to keep from idling, and techniques to keep more money in our pockets and out of our fuel tanks.
The Team Run Smart web site is for drivers, Owner Operators, independent Owner Operators and emerging small fleet owners. There is information that will befit owners and drivers of all brands of trucks. For those who are considering becoming a driver there is a plethora of knowledge to be gained.
Team Run Smart is a mix of industry professionals and working drivers that are available to answer questions about anything to do with trucking.
