It's a Team's Life

Morning Person / Night Person

When we had a “normal” way of life Bob would get all settled in to watch a movie and even with the best of attentions I would fall asleep.   I would be up and raring to go before the sun would come up and Bob had basically just went to bed.  What I have always thought is really funny is we have one daughter who is a night owl and one daughter who is an early bird and they were that way from the time they were born.

Now with our team driving this works out great.   Bob has a small DVD player and head phones and he often watches movies in the front of the cab when we are parked.   I get up in the morning make my coffee, set my computer on the steering wheel and I am great for hours till we get a load or Bob wakes up without the aid of an alarm clock.   That is also a side benefit of this way of life is we seldom ever have to wake up to the shrill sounds of an alarm clock.  Bob watches the sunsets and I watch the sunrise and we are both happy and neither one of us our always fighting our natural sleep patterns.
