Loading the truck

When we load the truck after being home we need an approximate time we will be gone from the house.   This time out we might end up having a council meeting so we will need to add the appropriate clothes to the truck.   The weather will be very cold while gone so no worries about adding any summer clothes at this point.   We then have to think about the weather and if we might have to chain the tires, walk or drive on ice, possible have the generator or the truck jell and not have heat.   I also plan on winter type meals and so stock the truck cold weather food.   I like winter type soups and stews so I will have plenty of them on hand.   When the weather is horrible and we are parked we like to watch DVD’s so we will make sure we have at least one CD book full of DVD’s in the truck.   As we are loading the truck we make sure we have all of our phone chargers and the laptop charger.   It is very easy to leave something at home and not figure it out till you are a hundred miles or so down the road.   We will have everything in the truck but us, the laptop, and any book we are reading.   When the call comes to head out immediately for a load we are ready to roll after entering the address in the GPS and getting our logbooks in order.   The first load out we always hope for an easy one as we are not back into our sleep patterns we follow in the truck.   It only takes one load and we are back in full truck mode thinking.
