It's a Team's Life

I am Older and I have MORE Insurance

Today I wanted to back into a car so bad that was parked next to the dock in a very tight area.  Every time I pulled up and moved over a few inches and then reversed to get around the CAR, I said a few bad words.

Years ago, when Bob and I worked at a company that made Spa Dolly’s and had a powder coating booth, me and a girl about came to blows.  She did not want to park in the mud so she would park on the ramp where trucks would unload and the door we constantly used to move Spa Dolly’s.  I told her to move her **** car, and she argued, and let’s just say in the end she moved her car and was she mad.

Now when we are trying to maneuver around a dock and see a car parked in the way, I get just as upset as I did years ago.  IF we hit the car, it is our fault, yet that vehicle is parked in an area we need to safely move around.  I wonder who owns the car?  Hopefully, it is not someone that works on the dock or is the shipping manager, as they should know better.  Why would any boss allow someone to park in an area where trucks are backing around?

So I say unkind words under my breath as I move around the offending vehicle and wish I could get out and chew someones behind for being inconsiderate.  Just a thought, but what do you think they would say if their car were to get hit?

This is another reason I am glad we are a team so that we have four sets of eyes looking to make sure we safely and professionally move around in tight areas.
