How we attend MATS

Bob and split up at the MATS show and take off to the areas we are most interested in.  He can stand for hours discussing the merits of tires, rear ends, transmissions, engines and after a bit I start going cross eyed. I enjoy talking to the vendors about the operations of our truck such as looking at prepass, norpass, or EZPass, talking to OOIDA, looking for anything that will help to make the operation of our truck run smoother. For a break I enjoy looking through the new sleepers and also meeting the people I talk on the phone, but do not ever get to see in person. This arrangement works well for both of us. If we find something we want to purchase we just call each other and discuss what we have seen and have the other person come look at the product. We usually split up first thing in the morning and do not see each other again till evening. Even using this system we still miss things at this show and then we have another reason to come back next year. If you have been to the show you will know why we can go all day and never see each other and for those of you who have never been to the show it really is that huge! In the evenings we have our tailgate party and enjoy seeing people we have not seen for over a year.
