GATS Last Minute touch up

Once inside the building, all we can do is use rags and a lot of elbow grease on the outside.  Luckily on the inside, I can still use my vacuum. We also have electricity to the truck to keep the refrigerator running and a side benefit is that we can use our interior lights to not only clean but for the judges to see the inside.

This is when I really get serious with what can easily be seen as the judges cannot open any cabinets to peek inside.  Those were all cleaned before we got to GATS. The final touches are wiping down the front of the cabinets, countertops, seats, dash, and the floor.  At the last minute, I decided to leave the door open to the shower so the judges could see a shower in a truck sleeper.

We are often asked why we would go through this over and over again and we always reply that it is awesome to have a very clean truck, talk to the other competitors, and then after being judged we open the truck for the attendees to come inside the truck. That is always a lot of fun.

Now to see how we do …
