Funny Stuff!
From the first part of March to where we are now we have seen things I would have laughed out loud about two months ago.
In all of our trucking career I never would have believed so many people would be thanking truck drivers or calling truck drivers hero. We have seen handwritten signs beside the interstates, in truck stops, and on the media “Thank You, Truck Drivers”. Hard to believe and I hope all of us live up to what the public thinking and gratitude.
Not only are we grappling with the changes so are the truck stops and some of what we see is almost comical. Here are a few pictures I have taken of what we are seeing each day that give me a chuckle.
Restaurants with tables roped off or have had chairs removed from the room

Sit down restaurants barricaded off and closed. Will they ever reopen?
This was the funniest as the whole truck stop had this on the floor and even down the hallways. Someone spent a lot of time laying all of this out.
We have only seen this once. Most of these chairs are available for drivers to get messages.
Using what they have to keep drivers back from the counter and employees.
