It's a Team's Life
EO University is over for the year.
Attending this workshop brings back memories of many years
ago of us sitting in a similar workshop listening in rapt attention.
We made the life changing decision at that
time that we were going to become expediters!
As I looked over the attendees I wondered how many would
make the decision we did or after listening decide that expediting was not for
them.
Each of the presenters have a goal
of sharing as much information as possible so that an informed decision can be
made to pursue expediting or to look for a different opportunity.
This year we have been able to talk about Team Run Smart and also a Day in the Life of an Expediter. We use a power point presentation with pictures of what we see on a daily basis. I have pictures of truck stop showers, snow on the roads, rainbows, Bob polishing the truck, and miscellaneous pictures of items that affects our lives.
We wish all of these people good luck no matter which way they choose to go and we applaud them for attending these events to make informed decisions.
