I really enjoy fall but I really dislike all that we have to carry in the truck to stay comfortable in all of the different situations we find ourselves in.   I am often amazed that we are not constantly sick this time of year.   I credit us not getting sick with the fact that we both try to eat a balanced diet and we take vitamins.   Not only is it really the pits to be sick on the road but if you are sick enough you cannot drive and that stops the income stream.    We have to carry gloves, hats, and heavy coats so if we have to chain up we will be dressed properly.   We then can go from the mountains to the south and be looking for summer clothing.   All of this needs a place to be stored in the truck and there just is not enough room for everything.   Once winter really sets in though we can finally get rid of our summer clothes and once again everything will have its place.   Then I will get to look forward to wet and dripping clothes coming into the truck from snow ….
