We were best friends in school who drifted apart due to moving and raising a family while the other went into the military.   We exchanged Christmas cards through out the years but that was about the extent of our communication.

One Christmas card contained an email address and the communication was on!   As we caught up with each other through email we realized how much our lives had stayed parallel in many ways.   We figured also we still have the same values and we still find humor in our same funny ways.   Each of knows the other is a dork and we except that.

Debbie and I shared a lot of common interests in our school years mostly based around our common love of horses.   Neither of us came from money and we made due with what we had or in most cases what we did not have.   What we lacked for in material things we made up for in a can do attitude and now I look back and laugh over our ability to not see what others had.

We finally had a load taking us back to southern Arizona where Debbie moved back to and where most of our adventures took place. Each of us are just as comfortable and trusting of each other as were in school and can tease and harass each other just as we did years ago.   The best part is that both of our families get along and we have now vacationed together in Debbie and I's favorite place Disneyland.

Trucking has enabled us to see Debbie usually once a year for a few days and sometime more often.   Debbie is awesome, if we cannot get all of the way to Sierra Vista about meeting us in Benson or even Tucson for a short visit.    There is no doubt in my mind that without trucking our time constraints on vacation time would never have allowed us to grow our adult friendship.

Trucking has enabled us to see family and friends in person much more often then we would have been able to in our old lives.....
