Bob cleaned the area of the box where the AirTabs would be attached very well with rubbing alcohol and then easily applied the Air Tabs.   He was able to use our lift gate with a ladder to install the Air Tabs across the top of the box.   The first thing we noticed is they are not very pretty.   The next thing we noticed was the stability of the truck in wind or being passed by other trucks.   We were often pushed all over the road and we feel the Air Tabs helped with the stability of the truck.   We had added several fuel saving things at the same time to the truck and do not know if there was any increase to our fuel mileage or not due to the Air Tabs. We do know that we will install the Air Tabs on the next truck as they are an inexpensive product that we feel do a great job.   We also really enjoy seeing the sales guys for Air Tabs at the truck shows and still enjoy stopping by their booth to visit them.   We have also at different times taken pictures of our Air Tabs and sent them to the AirTab web site!

Here are the details on the Air Tabs as they have changed some since we bought ours.   The Air Tabs are 4.76” long and 3.25: wide and stick out from the vehicle 1”.   They also come in white, black and clear and can also be painted to match your paint scheme.   You can look at Air Tabs at http://www.airtab.com/en/24 and look in the photo gallery to see different and interesting ways they have been installed on trucks and other vehicles.
