Here are some more of your questions answered. I like the fact that people are interested in what we do and how we live.

What changes have you made to the van to make it more comfortable and convient for you as a lady? I added the black out curtains that I made, so I don't have to worry about people seeing me while I change and I like it to be extremly dark while I sleep. We made the bed larger, to a full size bed, and invested into a thick memory foam mattress for comfort. I have a special space in the shelves that is dedicated to my items only. Such as my makeup, curling irons, and shoes. We have a bigger tv so its a bit easier to watch. I do have pictures hung up in random little places as well. Plus air fresheners to make it smell girly.

Would you consider having an animal with you? For us personally in our van I would say no. We sometimes have a hard time having room for the two of us. If I was a solo sure, or in a straight maybe. We both love dogs and will have a few for sure once we have a home.

Do you belong to any social networking sites? Yes I do. I have a Facebook page that I use quite regularly.

Where are you from? I am originally from a small town in central northern Michigan, Remus. I moved to Lansing as a teenager. Nick is originally from Romania and came here in the early 90's. We currently do not have a home of our own, but stay with family members in the Detroit area.

You mentioned your hobbies, but is there anything that the two of you do together? Yes there are lots of them. Two years ago for Nick's birthday I bought him a cab for a 1952 Ford F-1. Since then we have collected parts and another cab. We also have a 1962 Cadillac Sedan Deville.

In a previous post you mentioned that you and Nick were getting tattoos while you were in Florida. What did you get, and how many do you have? Nick has been working on a coverup on his right arm for about 2 years now. He also has a cross with the names of his grandparents on his left arm and nautical starts on his collar bones. I was getting an anchor with roses in memory of my grandparents. I have a lot of tattoos. My parents do not really like them. Then again, I live in a completely different generation than they do, so I understand.

When you were at the Expo I noticed that you had birds tattooed on your feet. Why? The birds that I have are sparrows. I got them in a pair facing each other for a reason. In the Bible it is mentioned that sparrows travel in pairs as the loyalty to each other. To me it represents Nick and I travelling as a pair, that is loyal to each other.

What all states have you been to? It is easier for me to answer which ones I havent been to :) Montana, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Washington, Oregon, and obviously Hawaii and Alaska.

Do you do Canada? No, we have chosen not to for our own reasons.

What kind of cell phone service do you have? Verizon. Nick had Sprint when I first came out with him and I hated it.

You said that you watch a lot of movies, what kind? Pretty much anything. To be honest Nick could probably speak in movie quotes.

What is your favorite movie? Joe Dirt. I think that it has a good meaning behind it. Making the best out of what you have and always looking for the postive. My favorite quote comes from that movie "Keep on Keepin on" Its what I tell myself when we are down

Have you had any major medical issues while on the road? Well. anyone that has followed us for a while knows that 2 years ago last April Nick had his gallbladder removed while we were in Beaver Falls PA, his appendix a year ago last January in Wake Forest NC. I battled with my cancer issues last year while on the road, and had my gallbladder removed last October in Buffalo NY.

Is there anywhere that you would really like to travel to? Bora Bora. I want a week long honeymoon in an over the water hut, and to go snorkeling with dolphins and other fishes and to see coral.

As far as where I would like to travel to expediting, I would like to travel the west coast. I loved it while we were there.

Do you stay at truckstops or other places? I like to stay at truck stops. As backwards as that sounds, I like to stay where there are other expediters, safety in numbers. I also like to socialize with them.

Where is the worst place that you have ever been stuck? NY Thruway in a winter storm, one mile from the toll plaza to get off. Spent 12 hours there. Needless to say that was the night I learned that I was a true expediter. LOL.

You said in your last blog that you had an Espar heater. Why would someone spend that much money on one? I can tell you this, why not. I would never have another van or truck with out one. I like the fact that it can be -40 outside with the windchill and I can comfortably be in shorts and a tank top covered with a sheet to sleep. And we have done it. I like the fan feature on it for in the summer time. To me a good comfortable nights sleep that ensures that I am well rested and safe to drive is worth it.

Well, I think that is all for the night. Our load is delivered, and we are headed for the truckstop for the night. Safe travels to all, and if you have anymore questions please ask.
