Trying a new service center

Unfortunately it is time to put the van in the shop to repair a few small things that our personal mechanic could not do. In order to maintain the warranty that our transmission came with, we need to take it to an authorized dealership to do the transmission flush, so Nick can't do it this time. We usually use a dealership that is close to home, but we are trying a new one. Mercedes Benz of St. Clair Shores, MI, had come to the workshop that was held in Monroe, MI a few weeks ago. We talked to the sales represenative that was there and we were very impressed with what he had to say. So when we noticed that it was time to change to transmission fluid, as well as get some air conditioning service done, we made the decision to give them a chance.

Currently I am sitting in their customer business center. I have been more than impressed with their service. We called at 8 am this morning to make an appointment for 10 am. We arrived at 9, as it didn't take us as long to get here as we thought it would. They brought us right in and gathered all of the needed information. Our service writer was highly impressed with the fact that the van has over 550k on it. He also said that our service schedule has been above par, and he can see why the van looks as good as it does.

Hopefully the air conditioning repair won't be anything too major, but in the mean time we are comfortable waiting and have been treated wonderfully.
