I took a week off then it took a few more days to catch some momentum. There was snow moving into Pennsylvania, so I had no problems with a load going to Oklahoma City. How easy it is to forget what the weather was like when the highs move into the fifties for a few days. It must have been cold before, because after three days in the fifties there is still ice on the lakes and rivers across Missouri. It’s good to be in service to take advantage of the low fuel prices. I grabbed a full tank of $2.21 diesel in OKC. Bet that wouldn’t have happened if I had headed east. The few chances I get to do a good scrub-down on the van makes me long for a chance to grind out some of the body rust. Maybe this spring.
