Fuel for Thought

Ok.. where's Spring..

           I have decided I am totally done with Winter LOL... this is getting crazy.  After my adventure in the snow, I had a relatively event free week, but one of my last runs delivered in Tomah, WI where the actual temperature was 20 below zero... yeah.... not a misprint.  I've been in lot's of low wind chill zones, but I believe that's the coldest actual temp I've been in.

            Of course, the next run ended up being a dry run... one of those days that make you question your choices.  Dispatched way ahead of time, nice weekend run from WI to TX.. get there at appointment... shipping clerk gives me blank look... "what are you here for?".... aaagghhh.  I tell her I'm going to Dallas????? "Oh, that freight went out a while ago!"... This is what happens when you don't have ONE person at a company placing orders... after investigation by company, turns out 2 different people at the shipper ordered trucks for the same load.... and the other one got there first. Erg.  So much fun.    Well, I ended up going back to Ohio, then delivering north of Milwaukee last night... so now I'm hanging out in Wisconsin, waiting to make some $$$$ and checked my settlement for this week.... of course, somehow Tripak lost paperwork for a $500 run, so I had to go fax it to settlements.  Ok... I'm ready for some good days LOL... need to run this week, then take a couple days off to get my taxes done.
