Me... A role model???????

Another forum member made a comment that said " Love reading Jenny's blogs - she and Nick are wonderful role models for expediting"  That really surprised me that people think of us that way, it's hard to imagine after the way we were originally perceived by people. I can say I sure don't think of us that way.

Nick entered the business  2006 at the age of 25, and myself in 2008 at the age of 23. Until the last year or so people have always looked at us as we were "just dumb young kids that didn't know a whole lot and couldn't possibly know how to run a successful business."  We are still here, and wouldn't be if we weren't making money, so for us, it is successful.

I feel that things changed two years ago at the  expo when people got to talking to us. They learned that we have a different outlook on things being younger than others do. I also think that one the biggest surprises to people was when they found out that I knew things about our Sprinter and help Nick work on it.

People also always ask us how we run our business. It's easy to tell someone how we run our business, but our business plan may not work for them. I will say one of my biggest secrets to it is to be positive NO MATTER WHAT. I know that sounds really hard to do, and at times it is, but we have learned how to. Everything happens for a reason whether you realize it or not.

I take it as a great compliment that someone would say that about us, it really means a lot. Thank you
