Mall of America

Yesterday we decided to take a trip to the Mall of America. I was in search of a dress for vacation, and figured if I could not find one there I would not be able to find one anywhere. Before we got there I had made a list of all of the stores that I wanted to go into, and organized them by floor and wing. When we got there and parked the journey began. We started on the 3rd floor.
We walked all of the floors, and probably went into 40-50 stores. Each floor is .57 miles, if you walk in a straight path all of the way around them with out stopping. It was a lot of walking, lots of things, but nothing that was over the top amazing to me. The roller coaster shakes the floor, and that kind of freaked me out. I guess that I was not overly impressed with it. Maybe if I was a teenager or early 20's and excited about shopping it would have been different. To Nick it was just a giant mall. It took us 6.5 hours to walk to the entire mall, and the stores that we did go into.
Another thing that highly dissapointed me about the entire trip to the mall was the customer service that we received at a few of the stores. Nick was looking at a watch and we were completely ignored. I guess because we dont shop in "dress" clothes or wear expensive enough brands they do not think that they should even waste their time on us. Eventually, I did find two dresses and a pair of shoes, so my mission was acomplished.
Now I can say that I have been to the Mall of America, and I don't really plan on ever going back.
