Next Thursday we will be in Monroe, MI for the EOU workshop. These workshops cover vital information such as border crossings, insurance, along with tips on picking the truck that is correct for you. In addition to these seminars, we will again be speaking about "expediting 101".
Recently I had a chance to talk with a gentleman who has attended the workshop in Knoxville earlier this year. Come to find out he is now in the expediting industry with a great company. I also had a couple who met with us at least years Expedite Expo, and attended the various workshops that were put on, who is now running a fleet of vehicles thanks to the knowledge that they had gained from the show. It is nice to see that these workshops are paying off and helping people who are either in the industry or wanting to get into it.
Along with the seminars you get a chance to meet some of the leading companies in the industry. Represenatives from Express1, Try Hours, Fed-Ex CC, Landstar, Nations Express, TST, Panther, Bolt and Load1 are scheduled to be there. There will also be those from CIS Insurance, Fyda Freightliner, Espar, Pallotta Ford, Expediter Equipment Finance, and SelecTrucks.
