Helping fellow drivers

Monday morning we woke up and were going about our usual business, and the battery alarm went off. Usually when that happens the battery is dead enough that you will not be able to start the van. We knew that we were going to need to get a new battery sometime soon anyway, as this one was a few years old, and it is starting to get cooler. There happened to be a Panther van parked next to us, and Nick asked him if he would be able to give us a jump. He said no problem. So we hooked it all up, but the battery was too far gone. The driver then offered to pull us back to the truck shop behind the T.A. so we could use their heavy duty equipment to jump us. Nick hooked our tow chain to his van, and around back we went. We offered to buy him lunch, and he said "No, I know that you would do this for any other driver as well." Which is very true, as we have done it in the past.

It is good to know that there are still good people out there. We called Panther to let them know about their driver that went above and beyond to help us out. If we can't help each other, who will.
