Have Tires, Will Travel

At 174,000 miles, the tires were still good for another 25,000 summer miles. It’s not summer, and I prefer to face the worst of winter with the maximum amount of tread. Both previous sets lasted in the 200,000 mile range. Costco still serves me well with their installation of the Michelin LTX M/S². The entire bill is still below $800 and includes nitrogen top offs and rotations for life. With the high wear mileage, stability, and fuel economy, I don't feel the need to experiment with other tires.
