Fuel for Thought

Happy Memorial Day!

          Just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day! I hope everyone took the time to stop and remember those who have served, and those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.  We have several family members who served, and we have indeed lost some.  God Bless those who have served!

         I had figured I'd get no runs today, being a holiday, but sure enough, I got a call for a pick up just a few miles from home at 8am this morning.  I arrived to a plant that looked empty, but found a guy in shipping who was not thrilled to be there loading on a Holiday, but I guess that holiday pay talks!  I ran it up to an airport near Detroit, where an air charter service was going to take it up into Canada. Once again, I found one guy puttering around the dock, working on his holiday.. but I guess someone approved the overtime to get this load out.

       Back home to spend the rest of the day with family, and yes, I'm better.. got some rest, and plan to get more! My daughter arrived safely in AZ, and is having a ball with the kids!  She will be teaching 40-50 Indian children at a summer childrens Bible school.
